This full-time office-based role focuses on handling and processing adverse events across clinical trials and post-marketing surveillance. Key Responsibilities
As a Drug Safety Specialist, you will:
- Determine the appropriate plan of action for incoming calls regarding adverse events.
- Collect, process, and track adverse events, including serious adverse events (SAEs).
- Draft detailed safety narratives.
- Report on various safety data to ensure compliance with safety protocols.
- Collaborate with internal teams and investigative research sites to maintain compliance with safety processes and regulations.
Qualifications
To succeed in this role, you should meet the following requirements:
- Required:
- A Bachelor’s degree in a healthcare-related field such as Nursing, Pharmacy, or Pharmacology.
- Proficient English communication skills.
- Broad knowledge of medical terminology.
- Proficiency in Microsoft® Office applications.
- Strong organizational and communication skills.
- Preferred:
- Experience in clinical research, case processing, or post-marketing pharmacovigilance.
