Responsibilities
As a Medical Writer at MedTrix Healthcare, you will:
- Conduct thorough literature searches to gather data on medical diseases, treatments, and topics.
- Draft and edit scientific content, including manuscripts, posters, abstracts, presentations, brochures, infographics, e-modules, and videos.
- Ensure content is clear, accurate, concise, and adheres to industry guidelines and standards.
- Demonstrate a basic understanding of statistics to support data-driven content.
- Organize and maintain document repositories, ensuring proper version control and documentation.
- Communicate effectively with team members to clarify requirements, address feedback, and meet deadlines.
- Stay updated on advancements in medical research, writing techniques, and industry best practices.
- Uphold ethical standards, including confidentiality, integrity, and plagiarism avoidance.
- Utilize proficiency in MS Word, Excel, and PowerPoint to create professional deliverables.
Qualifications
To excel in this role, you should have:
- Education:
- Undergraduate: MBBS, BDS, B Pharm.
- Postgraduate: MD, MDS, M Pharm, Pharm D, or PhD in a medical field.
- Experience: 2–6 years of medical writing experience, preferably in a medical communication agency. Freshers with relevant qualifications are also encouraged to apply.
- Skills:
- Excellent written and spoken English with creative writing abilities.
- Good interpersonal skills for effective team collaboration.
- Proficiency in conducting literature searches and drafting scientific content.
- Familiarity with medical writing guidelines and standards.
