Key Responsibilities
As a Medical Writer III, your responsibilities will include:
- Independent authoring, editing, and reviewing of regulatory and clinical documents including:
- PBRERs
- DSURs
- Risk Management Plans (RMPs)
- Aggregate safety reports
- Ensuring compliance with internal SOPs, templates, and international regulatory standards
- Supporting pharmacovigilance operations aligned with medical writing activities
- Participating in training, template development, and quality system improvements
- Continuous upskilling in PV guidelines and medical writing practices
- Leading, mentoring, and training junior medical writers
Required Qualifications
Candidates applying for the Medical Writer III role should have:
- Degree in Pharmacy, Medicine, or an advanced Life Science discipline
- Proven experience in pharmacovigilance medical writing (PBRERs, DSURs, RMPs mandatory)
- Excellent English writing, editing, and interpretation skills
- Ability to manage multiple deliverables with strong attention to detail
- Prior experience mentoring or managing junior writers
- Strong understanding of regulatory safety reporting requirements
