As a Medical Surveillance Specialist, your main duties include:

- Monitoring and evaluating daily clinical laboratory results from sponsor-designated central laboratories.
- Conducting periodic data analysis from eDC platforms and identifying protocol-specific deviations.
- Reviewing laboratory values to detect clinically significant trends or anomalies.
- Acting as a liaison between IQVIA Medical Services, sponsor laboratories, and investigator sites.
- Communicating critical findings that impact study outcomes to project teams.
- Supporting project setup activities and attending cross-functional meetings.
- Maintaining updated knowledge in medical laboratory practices through continuous learning.
Required Qualifications
Candidates should meet the following criteria:
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in Life Sciences or allied health fields (Pharmacy, Biochemistry, Microbiology, Biotechnology, Nursing, Medical Laboratory Science, Physiotherapy, or related).
- Experience: Minimum 2.5 years in medical surveillance, with a total of 2–6 years of relevant experience.
- Skills:
- Strong analytical and data interpretation skills.
- Excellent communication and reporting ability.
- Computer proficiency (word processing, data management).
- Attention to detail and organizational efficiency.
- Ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams.
