About the Role: Medical Science Liaison – Vaccines
The Medical Science Liaison (MSL) role at Takeda is a field-based position designed to facilitate peer-to-peer scientific exchange with healthcare professionals (HCPs) and external stakeholders. The primary focus of this role is to disseminate medical and scientific information related to vaccines and therapeutic areas.
Key Responsibilities
- Build and maintain advanced knowledge of vaccines, diseases, and therapies.
- Engage in scientific discussions with healthcare professionals and key opinion leaders (KOLs).
- Deliver non-promotional presentations on disease knowledge, diagnosis, and treatment advancements.
- Attend medical congresses, symposia, and scientific events to stay updated on the latest developments.
- Collaborate with internal teams to support medical education activities and commercial objectives.
- Provide scientific training and education to the sales force.

Qualifications and Skills Required
Education
- Minimum Requirement:
- Doctoral degree in Life Sciences (Ph.D.), Pharmacy, or Medical Graduate (MBBS, MD).
- Preferred Qualifications:
- MBBS/MD degree recognized by the Medical Council of India.
- Medical post-graduate degree (e.g., MD) or Doctor of Pharmacy (Pharm.D).
Experience
- Minimum of 1 year of experience in the pharmaceutical industry.
