Responsibilities of the Medical Reviewer Role

As a Medical Reviewer at Navitas Life Sciences, you will play a critical role in ensuring drug safety and compliance. Your key responsibilities include:

  • Drafting and Reviewing Aggregate Reports: Prepare and review reports such as RMPs, DSURs, PBRERs, PSURs, and PADERs to meet regulatory standards.
  • Signal Detection and Validation: Conduct signal detection, analysis, and validation to identify potential safety concerns.
  • Risk Management Plans (RMPs): Develop and update RMPs to mitigate risks associated with pharmaceutical products.
  • Data Analysis: Analyze clinical and post-marketing data to support pharmacovigilance activities.
  • Regulatory Compliance: Ensure all reports and processes comply with global regulatory guidelines (e.g., ICH, FDA, EMA).
  • Collaboration: Work with cross-functional teams to support safety assessments and risk mitigation strategies.

Qualifications and Skills Required

To excel in this Medical Reviewer role, candidates must meet the following criteria:

  • Education: MBBS and MD degree from a recognized institution.
  • Experience: 1-3 years of experience in pharmacovigilance, with expertise in signal detection and aggregate reporting.
  • Technical Skills: Proficiency in drafting and reviewing RMPs, DSURs, PBRERs, PSURs, and PADERs.
  • Analytical Skills: Strong ability to analyze clinical data and identify safety signals.
  • Regulatory Knowledge: Familiarity with global pharmacovigilance regulations and guidelines.
