Job Description: Medical Information Specialist (MIS)
ProPharma Group is seeking a Medical Information Specialist (MIS) to join their dynamic team. The role involves handling medical and safety inquiries from healthcare professionals, patients, and consumers while ensuring compliance with industry regulations.
Key Responsibilities:
✔ Respond to Medical & Safety Inquiries – Provide accurate, evidence-based responses via phone, email, and other channels.
✔ Adverse Event Reporting – Document and report adverse events, product complaints, and special situations per regulatory guidelines.
✔ Medical Literature & Labeling – Utilize approved resources to craft scientifically sound responses.
✔ Quality Assurance – Ensure all documentation meets SOPs, client-specific protocols, and global compliance standards.
✔ Database Management – Log inquiries accurately in the designated Inquiry Handling System.
✔ After-Hours Support – Participate in rotational on-call schedules as needed.
Qualifications & Skills Required:
✅ Educational Background:
- Bachelor’s/Master’s in Life Sciences, Pharmacy, or Nursing (RN/BS/BA/MS).
✅ Language Proficiency: - Fluent English (written & verbal).
- For Japan-based roles: TOEIC score ≥800.
✅ Technical & Soft Skills: - Strong medical terminology, pharmacology, and pathophysiology knowledge.
- Excellent communication, critical thinking, and analytical skills.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office, Adobe Acrobat, and document management systems.
- Ability to multitask, prioritize, and work under tight deadlines.
