This role focuses on editing Clinical Study Reports (CSR), Investigator’s Brochures (IB), and Clinical Protocols, supporting global regulatory submissions aligned with FDA, EMA, and ICH guidelines.

Key Responsibilities
As a Medical Editor II (Clinical Pharmacology) at Syneos Health, you will:
- Maintain up-to-date knowledge of FDA, EMA, ICH, and global regulatory guidelines
- Copyedit and review CSR, IB, protocols, and clinical documents using AMA Manual of Style
- Ensure accuracy, consistency, grammar, punctuation, and scientific clarity
- Perform quality control (QC) reviews on clinical and regulatory documents
- Collaborate with medical writers, project managers, and cross-functional study teams
- Monitor timelines and budgets, flagging risks proactively
- Follow medical writing SOPs, client standards, and internal checklists
- Provide editorial feedback to lead medical writers
- Support compilation of medical writing deliverables when required
Required Qualifications & Skills
- Degree in Life Sciences, Pharmacy, Medicine, or related discipline
- Experience in medical editing or clinical documentation
- Strong expertise in editing CSR, IB, protocols, and regulatory documents
- Proficiency with AMA Manual of Style and sponsor-specific style guides
- Familiarity with clinical pharmacology and regulatory submissions
- Excellent attention to detail and document QC skills
- Ability to work independently in a remote, deadline-driven environment
- Strong communication and stakeholder collaboration skills
