Key Responsibilities
As an Expert Writer โ Medical Content Development, you will:
- Develop high-quality, scientifically accurate medical and scientific content such as Scientific Response Documents (SRD), FAQs, abstracts, posters, training materials, and slide decks.
- Support the Manager, Medical Content Development in client projects, including MLR (Medical, Legal, Regulatory) review processes.
- Manage client document development using tools like Veeva PromoMats / MedComms.
- Conduct literature searches (PubMed, Ovid, Embase) and provide fact-checking support.
- Mentor and coach team members while ensuring compliance with SOPs and global guidelines.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams in Medical Affairs, Pharmacovigilance, Regulatory, and Quality.
- Contribute to thought leadership articles, congress presentations, newsletters, and blogs.
Qualifications
Minimum Requirements:
- Advanced degree: PharmD, M.Pharm, M.S. Pharm, PhD, or MD.
- At least 4 years of experience in the pharmaceutical or life sciences industry.
- Strong background in medical writing, scientific communications, and medical information content.
- Familiarity with AMA Style Guide, ICMJE, GPP, CONSORT, PRISMA, STROBE guidelines.
- Proficiency in MS Office, Acrobat, EndNote/Mendeley, PubMed/Ovid/Embase.
- Excellent project management and communication skills.
Preferred:
- Experience with new product launches and Veeva Vault MedComms/PromoMats.
- Published work in abstracts, posters, or manuscripts.
- Exposure to multiple therapeutic areas.
