Key Responsibilities
As a Medical Coder at CorroHealth, your role will include:

- Extracting relevant clinical information from patient records.
- Reviewing documents for accuracy and completeness.
- Assigning ICD-10-CM, CPT, HCPCS, APC, DRG, and ASA codes as per guidelines.
- Performing regular chart audits to ensure compliance.
- Communicating with supervisors about coding-related issues.
- Staying updated on latest coding rules and industry standards.
- Maintaining strict confidentiality of patient data.
Required Qualifications & Skills
- Graduation in Life Sciences (or equivalent with Anatomy/Physiology).
- 6 months to 5 years of hands-on experience in HCC coding.
- Mandatory certification: CPC or CRC.
- Excellent communication and organizational skills.
- Strong computer proficiency and attention to detail.
- Ability to maintain confidentiality and ensure compliance.
