This is a full-time, on-site opportunity for CCS-certified inpatient medical coders with strong expertise in ICD-10-PCS, DRG assignment, and facility-based ED coding.

Key Responsibilities
- Assign ICD-10-PCS and DRG codes accurately for inpatient and ED facility records
- Ensure compliance with US coding guidelines, payer rules, and regulatory standards
- Review inpatient medical records with high attention to documentation accuracy
- Collaborate with India-based and onshore US coding teams to resolve coding queries
- Maintain daily coding productivity and quality benchmarks
- Stay updated on ICD coding updates, DRG changes, and payer-specific requirements
Required Qualifications & Skills
- Mandatory Certification:
- CCS (Certified Coding Specialist) – primary credential
- Experience:
- Minimum 1 year of inpatient facility coding experience
- Preferred 2–3 years of hands-on IPDRG coding
- Technical Expertise:
- Inpatient DRG assignment
- ICD-10-PCS coding
- Facility-based Emergency Department (ED) coding
- US inpatient medical record review
- Strong analytical skills and high attention to detail
Preferred Qualifications
- Dual certification: CCS + CPC (AAPC)
- CIC holders must also possess CPC with strong inpatient coding experience
- Experience with EMR systems and coding platforms
- Prior exposure to US healthcare workflows
