Role Purpose
The Quality-Medical Affairs Professional (Q-MAP) serves as a therapeutically aligned clinical scientist who plays a pivotal role in quality reviewing deliverables for promotional and non-promotional content. This role involves collaborating with cross-functional teams to ensure the development and review of materials meet both external customer needs and internal business goals.
Key Responsibilities
- Brand Team Support:
- Act as the primary medical point of contact for the brand team.
- Provide clinical and scientific expertise to support cross-functional teams.
- Contribute to the development of local brand plans and medical strategies.
- Review and develop promotional and non-promotional materials, ensuring they align with therapeutic solutions and clinical landscapes.
- Support the medical training needs of internal business partners.
- Scientific Expertise and Medical Affairs Delivery:
- Support data analysis and the development of scientific publications (abstracts, posters, manuscripts).
- Collaborate with other medical affairs roles to deliver exceptional customer experiences.
- Stay current with medical literature and trends relevant to therapeutic areas.
- Translate scientific data into clear and compliant content for customer communications.
Qualifications
- Educational Background:
- Advanced degree (MD, PhD, etc.) in health sciences with ≥ 2 years of relevant clinical or therapeutic experience.
- OR a Master’s or Bachelor’s degree (MBBS, BDS, PharmD, MSc Nursing, etc.) in health sciences with ≥ 2 years of clinical experience.
- Experience:
- Relevant scientific industry experience is required.
- Strong interpersonal, communication, teamwork, and project management skills.
- Ability to translate complex scientific data into meaningful content for diverse audiences.
- Experience partnering across multiple functions, including Marketing, Compliance, Legal, and Regulatory.
- Other Qualifications:
- High capacity to manage and prioritize complex deliverables.
- Knowledge and experience interfacing with customers.
- Leadership skills with the ability to influence others, including upward management.
