Experience Required
- M.Sc. with 12–15 years of experience, OR
- Ph.D. with 6–7 years of experience
- Strong hands-on experience in purification and commercial manufacturing troubleshooting in recent 5–7 years
Key Responsibilities
Downstream Processing & Purification
- Design and optimize protein purification processes including chromatography, TFF, and filtration
- Improve yield, purity, and stability using protein chemistry principles
Scale-Up & Technology Transfer
- Support lab to pilot to commercial scale transitions
- Lead process scale-up and technology transfer activities
Troubleshooting & Manufacturing Support
- Resolve issues related to yield loss, aggregation, impurities, and variability
- Provide scientific support to Drug Substance (DS) manufacturing
Documentation & Compliance
- Prepare and review R&D protocols, reports, and regulatory documents
- Conduct process characterization and comparability studies
Cross-Functional Collaboration
- Work closely with Manufacturing, MSAT, ARD, and QA teams
- Implement sustainable and compliant solutions
Required Qualifications
Educational Qualification
- M.Sc. or Ph.D. in:
- Biotechnology
- Biochemistry
- Chemical Engineering
- Or related discipline
Skills & Expertise
- Strong expertise in downstream processing and protein purification
- Hands-on experience in commercial manufacturing support
- Understanding of regulatory requirements
- Ability to work both in lab and manufacturing environments
- Detail-oriented and problem-solving mindset
Salary & Benefits
- Estimated Salary Range: ₹18,00,000 – ₹32,00,000 per annum (depending on experience)
