Department: Quality Control – Microbiology Experience Required: 0 – 5 years Gender: Male candidates only Interview Date: Saturday, 13 December 2025 Reporting Time: 10:00 AM sharp
Key Roles and Responsibilities
- Sampling and testing of purified water, water for injection, and cleanroom environments
- Performing Microbial Limit Tests (MLT), Bacterial Endotoxin Test (BET), and sterility testing
- Media preparation, growth promotion testing, and maintenance of microbial cultures
- Environmental monitoring of classified areas (Grade A to D)
- Method validation and method development for microbiological tests
- Equipment calibration/qualification and laboratory hygiene maintenance
- Preparation and review of SOPs, STPs, protocols, and validation reports
- Disinfectant efficacy studies and qualification
- Handling internal and external regulatory audits
- Waste decontamination and overall microbiology lab management in the absence of seniors
Required Qualifications and Skills
- BSc Microbiology or MSc Microbiology from a recognized university
- 0 to 5 years of hands-on experience in pharmaceutical QC Microbiology
- Sound knowledge of GMP, GLP, and 21 CFR compliance
- Familiarity with MLT, BET, sterility testing, and environmental monitoring
- Good documentation and report-writing skills
- Willingness to work in shifts if required
