Roles and Responsibilities As a Quality Control professional at Macleods, you will be involved in:
- Performing analysis and testing of raw materials (RM), finished goods (FG), stability samples, and in-process materials.
- Handling analytical method validation (AMV), analytical method transfer (AMT), and related documentation.
- Conducting stability studies, including sample storage, testing, and data compilation.
- Operating sophisticated instruments such as HPLC, GC, UV, FTIR, and ensuring calibration/compliance.
- Maintaining records as per GLP/GMP guidelines and investigating any out-of-specification (OOS) or deviation results.
- Supporting regulatory audits and ensuring section-specific quality standards in OSD and API divisions.
Required Qualifications and Experience
- Educational Qualification: M.Sc (Chemistry/Analytical), B.Pharm, or M.Pharm.
- Experience: 2 to 8 years in relevant Quality Control sections (focus on Finished Goods, Stability, AMT/AMV, RM testing).
- Strong knowledge of pharmacopoeial standards (IP, USP, BP) and analytical techniques is essential.
- Candidates should be proficient in documentation, data integrity, and troubleshooting lab issues.
