Roles and Responsibilities
Production:
- Distribute allocated jobs among available manpower.
- Monitor process parameters and maintain production rates.
- Check qualities of raw materials before charging.
- Ensure compliance with cGMP, EHS, and other regulatory requirements.
- Report quality concerns, suggest improvements to supervisors/managers.
- Act as coordinator when required.
Quality Control:
- Work with relevant instruments (HPLC/GC/GCHS/CSV/GLP etc.).
- Follow protocols and prepare reports.
- Perform method validation, method transfer, and verification.
- Knowledge of computer software and 21CFR Part 11 compliance.
Utility:
- Operate and maintain utility equipment including Air Compressors, Nitrogen Plant, Air Dryers, HVAC, Cooling Towers, Boilers, and Pumping Systems.
- Ensure compliance with GMP activities.
- Coordinate for process safety and related tasks.
Required Qualifications and Experience
- Production: B.Sc./M.Sc. Chemistry or Diploma in Chemical Engineering with 1 to 5 years of experience.
- Quality Control: B.Sc./M.Sc. Chemistry with 2 to 5 years of experience in API/Pharma industries.
- Utility: B.E. Mechanical with 5 to 8 years of experience in API/Pharma utility operations.
Preferences/Compulsory:
- Relevant exposure in API/Bulk Drug/Pharma with process safety implementation.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Minimum 60% marks or 1st class in highest qualification.
- Freshers are welcome for apprenticeship positions only.
