Roles & Responsibilities
As a Sample Handling Assistant I, you will play a crucial role in managing laboratory data and sample processing workflows. Key responsibilities include:
Core Responsibilities
- Perform accessioning including first and second data entry of patient demographics
- Process requisition batches accurately and within defined turnaround times
- Handle data entry tasks under supervision and transition to independent work after training
- Ensure timely processing of all received batches
Additional Responsibilities
- Maintain accurate audit trails of all activities
- Follow all Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) and company policies
- Perform on-call and after-hours duties when required
- Maintain proper documentation for records and compliance
- Participate in training and keep training files updated
- Work collaboratively within a team environment
- Suggest process improvements for departmental efficiency
Required Qualifications
Minimum Qualifications
- Bachelorโs Degree in Science
Preferred Qualifications
- 6 months experience in clinical research or related industry
- Masterโs Degree in Science (preferred but not mandatory)
