Job Responsibilities
As a Production Officer at KLM Laboratories, you will play a critical role in ensuring seamless production processes while maintaining the highest quality standards. Your key responsibilities include:
- Documentation: Perform online documentation of production activities in batch manufacturing records (BMR) and logbooks.
- Equipment Calibration: Conduct calibration and daily verification of weighing balances as per the schedule.
- Machine and Area Operations: Ensure proper operation and cleaning of machines and production areas per standard operating procedures (SOPs).
- Line Clearance: Obtain line clearance from the Quality Assurance (QA) team to initiate operations.
- Work Allocation: Assign tasks to operators and workmen based on production plans.
- Environmental Monitoring: Maintain temperature and humidity in processing areas as specified in BMR.
- In-Process Checks: Conduct checks at various intermediate stages of batch manufacturing and filling.
- Quality Compliance: Initiate online rejections, deviations, incidents, and change controls to uphold quality standards.
- Product Storage: Ensure products are produced and stored according to SOPs, maintaining required quality standards.
- Validation and Audits: Handle validation batches and maintain areas for regulatory audits.
- Labeling and Coordination: Follow labeling procedures for areas, equipment, and products, and coordinate with the Quality Control (QC) department for product release.
- Yield Monitoring: Ensure product yield aligns with BMR after each production stage.
- Issue Reporting: Promptly report any abnormalities during shifts to the Production Manager.
Qualifications
To excel in this role, candidates must meet the following requirements:
- Education: B. Pharm, M. Pharm, or M. Sc degree from a recognized institution.
- Experience: 2–5 years of relevant experience in pharmaceutical production or manufacturing.
- Skills:
