Kenvue, a global consumer health leader and home to iconic brands such as Neutrogena®, Aveeno®, Tylenol®, Listerine®, Johnson’s® and Band-Aid®, is hiring a Scientist – RMC Analytical for its Greater Mumbai location. This is a full-time, onsite analytical scientist role supporting raw material qualification, analytical stability, and compliance activities for Cosmetic and OTC products.
This opportunity is ideal for professionals with 2–5 years of experience in analytical chemistry, pharma, or FMCG environments, looking to work in a GxP-compliant, science-driven organization with global exposure.
Key Responsibilities – Scientist RMC Analytical
- Support raw material analytical qualification and characterization projects globally
- Perform and coordinate analytical stability testing for cosmetic and OTC products
- Ensure calibration and maintenance of in-house analytical instruments
- Collaborate with external laboratories and third-party vendors, ensuring compliance with Kenvue standards
- Participate in data analysis, interpretation, and technical decision-making
- Investigate OOS and raw material–related issues supporting manufacturing sites
- Draft and review qualification reports, stability reports, method transfer documents, and technical justifications
- Ensure compliance with EOHS, GMP, and Quality Systems
- Train and assess performance of third-party analytical resources
- Provide project updates and drive continuous process improvement initiatives
Eligibility & Qualifications
Educational Requirements
- MSc (Analytical/Organic Chemistry), B.Pharm, or M.Pharm from a reputed university
Experience
- 2–5 years of relevant experience in Pharma or FMCG analytical laboratories
Required Skills & Knowledge
- Strong understanding of Analytical Chemistry principles and applications
- Hands-on experience in GMP / GxP environments
- Knowledge of global and country-specific regulatory requirements
- Expertise in analytical data interpretation, documentation, and investigations
- Excellent communication, collaboration, and organizational skills
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office tools
- Proven ability to deliver results in cross-functional, global projects
