The Adverse Drug Reaction Monitoring Centre (AMC) & Medical Device Adverse Event Monitoring Centre (MDMC) under the Department of Pharmacology plays a crucial role in drug safety surveillance and pharmacovigilance in India.
Job Description
The Jr. Pharmacovigilance Associate will be responsible for:
- Collection and documentation of Adverse Drug Reaction (ADR) reports.
- Processing and managing Individual Case Safety Reports (ICSRs) in VigiFlow.
- Conducting quality review, clinical review, and statistical analysis of ICSRs.
- Assisting in drug safety database management and regulatory compliance.
- Performing other duties assigned by the Competent Authority.
Eligibility Criteria
Essential Qualifications:
- Master’s degree in Pharmacy, Clinical Pharmacology, Pharmacy Practice, or Clinical Research
- OR Pharm.D / MBBS / BDS from a recognized university/institute.
Desirable Qualifications:
- 1 year of experience in drug safety/pharmacovigilance.
- Familiarity with VigiFlow, Argus, or other pharmacovigilance databases.
Age Limit:
- Not exceeding 28 years
Salary & Benefits
