Job Responsibilities

Below are the responsibilities associated with the available roles:

1. Consultant

• Provide expert consultation and oversee chemotherapy treatments.
• Guide and train medical staff on oncology protocols.
• Ensure adherence to treatment standards for patients.

2. Medical Officer

• Administer patient care and supervise chemotherapy sessions.
• Collaborate with consultants for treatment planning.
• Document and monitor patient progress.

3. Pharmacist

• Manage medication dispensing and ensure proper inventory.
• Counsel patients on drug usage and side effects.
• Work in shifts, including night duties.

4. Day Care Coordinator

• Oversee operations of chemotherapy units in district centers.
• Develop and implement oncology-related public health programs.
• Ensure seamless communication between district units and the main center.

5. Multi-Tasking Staff (MTS)

• Maintain cleanliness of chemotherapy centers.
• Assist in shifting equipment and performing miscellaneous tasks.

6. Nurse

• Administer chemotherapy and post-treatment care to patients.
• Maintain accurate nursing records and reports.
• Provide emotional support to patients and their families.

Qualifications and Skills Required

Educational Qualifications

• Consultant: DM Oncology or equivalent postgraduate degree in Medicine, Pediatrics, Pathology, etc.
• Medical Officer: MBBS from a recognized institution.
• Pharmacist: B.Pharm with 1-year experience or D.Pharm with 3 years of relevant experience.
• Day Care Coordinator: MBBS, MDS, or MPH with public health experience.
• Multi-Tasking Staff: Minimum 10th pass with relevant cleaning/maintenance experience.
• Nurse: GNM/BSc Nursing and registered with INC/MNC.

Skills and Experience

• Proficiency in oncology settings (preferred for certain roles).
• Ability to handle computerized systems for pharmacists.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Willingness to work in shifts for specific roles like nurses and pharmacists.
