Key Responsibilities
As an Analyst II Global Data Manager at Johnson & Johnson, you will play a pivotal role in managing clinical trial data. Your responsibilities will include:
- Leading Data Management: Collaborate with external suppliers, trial customers, and internal/external partners to establish and align data management expectations for clinical trials.
- eCRF and Data Tools: Gather and review requirements for electronic Case Report Forms (eCRF) and other data collection tools, ensuring seamless integration.
- Quality Assurance: Establish conventions and quality expectations for clinical data, ensuring compliance with regulatory guidelines and documentation standards.
- Timely Deliverables: Set and monitor timelines to ensure all data management milestones are met, maintaining real-time inspection readiness.
- Document Review: Review clinical data management documents for quality, accuracy, and consistency, including submission packages.
- Cross-Functional Leadership: Work with clinical working groups to meet data management and therapeutic area trial needs.
- Process Improvement: Identify and contribute to process, system, and tool enhancement initiatives to optimize clinical data workflows.
- Specialized Roles:
- Global Data Manager (GDM): Oversee trial-level data management activities under the direction of the Data Management Leader.
- Clinical Data Manager (CDM): Conduct complex scientific data reviews, manage queries in EDC systems, and collaborate with Study Responsible Scientists (SRS) and Physicians.
Qualifications
To excel in this role, candidates must meet the following requirements:
- Education: Bachelor’s degree (BS/BA) in Clinical Data Management, Health, Computer Sciences, or a related field. Advanced degrees (Master’s, PhD) are preferred.
- Experience: Approximately 2 years of experience in the pharmaceutical, CRO, or biotech industry, with a focus on clinical drug development.
- Skills:
- Strong written and verbal communication skills in English.
- Proven ability to work with cross-functional stakeholders and teams.
- Knowledge of clinical trial protocols and data management processes.
- Preferred Qualifications:
