IQVIA is hiring a Japanese Linguist (JLPT N3 Certified) for the role of Operations Specialist 1 in Pune. This position involves processing pharmacovigilance (PV) data, ensuring compliance with regulatory standards, and supporting drug safety operations.
Key Responsibilities:
- Review and process safety data (adverse events, product complaints) from various sources.
- Perform data entry, coding, and narrative writing for pharmacovigilance reports.
- Ensure compliance with global PV regulations, SOPs, and client guidelines.
- Support medical review of non-serious adverse events (AEs) and drug reactions (ADRs).
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams (clinical, data management, project management).
- Maintain high accuracy and quality in case processing.
- Assist in training and mentoring new team members.
- Participate in departmental initiatives and process improvements.
Qualifications & Skills:
- Bachelor’s degree in Life Sciences, Pharmacy, or related field.
- 1-3 years of experience (including 1 year in Pharmacovigilance preferred).
- JLPT N3 certification is mandatory.
- Strong knowledge of medical terminology and drug safety databases.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office and web-based applications.
- Excellent communication (written & verbal) and organizational skills.
- Ability to work in shifts and meet strict deadlines.
