Job Responsibilities

As an Operations Specialist 1, you will play a pivotal role in ensuring the smooth execution of pharmacovigilance-related processes. Key responsibilities include:

  • Compliance and Training: Read and acknowledge IQVIA and customer procedural documents, complete required training, and achieve on-job certification.
  • Process Management: Ensure approvals for reports, track pharmacovigilance queries via ticketing tools, and allocate tasks to team members.
  • Data Reporting: Generate standard and ad hoc reports from global safety databases, including aggregate reports and tabulations.
  • Communication: Address stakeholder queries, seek clarifications, and respond to emails promptly.
  • Team Support: Mentor team members, assist with certifications, and represent the team during audits.
  • Documentation: Develop and maintain SOPs, guidelines, and supplemental content to ensure consistent handling of safety data requests.

Qualifications

To be successful in this role, you should have the following qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in life sciences, pharmacy, or a related field.
  • Familiarity with pharmacovigilance processes and global safety databases.
  • Experience in report generation and data handling is a plus.
