Responsibilities of the Clinical Data Specialist As a Clinical Data Specialist at IQVIA’s Bengaluru office, you will play a vital role in ensuring high-quality data management for clinical trials and projects. Your key responsibilities will include:
- Acting as a Data Operations Coordinator (DOC) for protocols involving fewer than five operations staff or overseeing multiple moderately complex central laboratory studies.
- Leading data management tasks such as coding, database testing, and development for specific technologies that require minimal programming.
- Serving as a backup for DOCs or Data Team Leads (DTLs) when necessary.
- Conducting data review and writing data clarifications.
- Leading database audit teams to ensure data accuracy and compliance.
- Developing and testing databases and edit specifications.
- Performing clinical data coding.
- Ensuring adherence to IQVIA’s core operating procedures and working instructions.
- Fostering effective communication and relationships with CDM teams, clients, and managers.
Qualifications for the Role To excel as a Clinical Data Specialist, you must meet the following criteria:
- Education: A Bachelor’s degree in clinical, biological, or mathematical sciences or an equivalent combination of education, training, and experience.
- Experience: Demonstrated experience in clinical data management or related fields.
- Skills:
