The Lab Associate will conduct routine testing and quality control checks on Anatomic Pathology slides scanned in regional labs, ensuring accurate and regulatory-compliant data for clinical trials.
Key Responsibilities
The selected candidate will be responsible for:
- Performing QC checks on Anatomic Pathology (AP) images
- Validating analytical results using algorithm-based image management systems
- Documenting findings in accordance with SOPs, GLP, and regulatory guidelines
- Identifying unusual results and escalating performance concerns
- Conducting secondary data reviews where required
- Maintaining workflow trackers and processing logs
- Assisting in drafting laboratory procedures and technical reports
- Supporting 6S laboratory housekeeping standards
- Ensuring adherence to safety, infection control, and hazardous chemical handling norms
- Collaborating with cross-functional clinical research teams
This role strengthens hands-on exposure in clinical trial laboratory operations, regulatory compliance, and digital pathology QC processes.
Eligibility Criteria
Educational Qualification
- Bachelor’s degree in Medical Laboratory Technology (MLT), Biology, or related Life Science field (BSc preferred)
Experience
- Minimum 6 months laboratory experience (academic or industry-based)
Required Skills
- Basic knowledge of Good Laboratory Practices (GLP)
- Understanding of laboratory safety and infection control protocols
- Familiarity with pathology slide scanning and image QC preferred
- Proficiency in basic computer applications and reporting systems
- Strong documentation and collaboration skills
