Job Responsibilities:
- Hold a Bachelor’s degree in Life Sciences or be a Registered Nurse (RN) with a thorough understanding of biology, chemistry, and medical coding.
- Possess 5+ years of experience in medical coding.
- Demonstrate knowledge and experience with the application of MSSO Standardized MedDRA Queries (SMQ) and WHO-Drug Standardized Drug Groupings (SDG) for data selection and reporting purposes.
Must-Have Qualifications:
- A thorough understanding of regulations, GCP, and ICH Guidelines as they apply to medical terminology coding.
- Knowledge of general clinical research and the pharmaceutical industry.
- Experience with the MedDRA and UMC WHO Drug Dictionary.
