Available Positions and Responsibilities
Ipca Laboratories is hiring for the following departments in their API division:
- Sr. Chemist / Chemist – Quality Assurance (API) Responsible for collecting and reviewing annual product data, preparing APQR reports, identifying trends, helping for improvements. Alongside this, you will handle day-to-day QMS tasks such as deviations, change controls, CAPA, document updates, and Audit support.
- Executive / Officer – Powder Processing (API) Responsible for overseeing the physical shop floor activities—including milling, shifting, and micronization, and keeping the shop floor compliant with cGMP. Alongside production support, you’ll handle QMS tasks like deviations, change controls, CAPA, and documentation updates in Trackwise.
- Chemist / Technician – Production (API) You will be responsible for shift operations, charging batches, and documentation while ensuring safety and compliance. This includes the hands-on operation of Reactors, Centrifuges, ANFDs, and RCVDs etc.
- Asst. Manager / Executive – Engineering – Electrical & Instrumentation (API) To lead our Electrical and Instrumentation team, managing transformers and Panels, overseeing the utilities like DG sets, calibration of instruments and sensors, troubleshoot electrical faults quickly, manage the team’s daily work, and make sure all electrical systems are safe and reliable for production.
- Apprentice – Engineering, EHS, & Production (Only for Freshers) We are looking for hardworking Apprentices to join our team and start their career in the API industry. In this role, you will work closely with our experienced team members. You’ll be responsible for assisting them into day-to-day tasks on the shop floor, following all safety rules, and helping with basic documentation and equipment upkeep.
Desired Candidate Profile: Candidates should have working experience with WHO, MHRA, USFDA approved Pharmaceutical API plant.
Required Qualifications and Experience
- Education: UG/PG in relevant field (Chemistry/Pharmacy) for most roles; BE/BTech/Diploma in Mechanical/Fire & Safety/Env. BSc in Chemistry/ITI in Fitter/RAC for Apprentices (passed out of 2022 to 2025 only).
- Experience:
- Sr. Chemist/QA: Min. Exp. 2 Years
- Powder Processing Executive/Officer: Min. Exp. 5 Years
- Production Chemist/Technician: Min. Exp. 2 Years
- Engineering Asst. Manager/Executive: Min. Exp. 8 Years
- Apprentice: Freshers only
