About the Role The Lab QA position focuses on maintaining stringent quality standards in the laboratory setting. Responsibilities include overseeing analytical testing, managing deviations, and ensuring compliance with global regulatory requirements.
Key Responsibilities
- Handle Out of Specification (OOS), Out of Trend (OOT), Corrective and Preventive Actions (CAPA), and Deviations effectively.
- Perform instrument operations and data review using techniques such as HPLC, GC, UV, and IR.
- Manage Quality Management System (QMS) and Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs).
- Utilize Chromeleon Software 7.2 for chromatography data handling.
- Support and participate in regulatory audits including FDA, USFDA, and MHRA.
- Ensure accurate documentation, investigation of lab incidents, and implementation of quality improvements.
Required Qualifications and Skills
- Educational Qualification: B.Pharm, M.Pharm, or M.Sc (Chemistry/Analytical preferred).
- Technical Expertise: Proficiency in HPLC, GC, UV, IR spectroscopy.
- Core Competencies: Strong knowledge of OOS, OOT, CAPA, Deviations, QMS, and SOP management.
- Software Skills: Experience with Chromeleon Software 7.2.
- Audit Readiness: Familiarity with FDA, USFDA, and MHRA audits.
- Experience: Prior experience in pharmaceutical lab QA/QC is highly desirable (specific years not listed, but skills indicate mid-level suitability).
