Key Responsibilities
As an IPM Associate at Hetero Pharma, you will:
- Conduct prior art searches and patent landscape analysis in chemistry.
- Assist in preparing and reviewing invention disclosures, patent specifications, and technical reports.
- Collaborate with R&D teams to assess patentability of inventions.
- Support in managing patent filing timelines, deadlines, and renewals.
- Maintain internal IP databases and compliance records.
- Stay updated on WIPO/PCT rules and national patent office guidelines.
- Draft initial responses to patent office actions under supervision.
Desired Qualifications & Skills
- Education: M.Sc in Chemistry (Freshers eligible, 0–1 years of experience).
- Strong academic background in organic/inorganic/analytical chemistry.
- Excellent research and analytical skills with ability to interpret scientific data.
- Basic knowledge of patents and IP concepts (training will be provided).
- Proficiency in MS Office Suite and patent databases.
- Good technical writing and communication skills.
