Roles and Responsibilities
As a Technician or Operator in the Solid Oral Packing department, you will play a key role in ensuring efficient and compliant packaging operations. Typical responsibilities include:
- Operating packing machinery for solid oral dosage forms (blister packing, bottling, cartonating, etc.)
- Performing in-process checks and documentation as per GMP standards
- Troubleshooting minor equipment issues and maintaining machine efficiency
- Adhering to shift duties and working in regulated environments (USFDA/MHRA approved)
- Ensuring compliance with safety, quality, and productivity norms
- Handling pharma exposure in regulated plants, including original/photocopy of documents for verification
Candidates must be open to work in shifts and have hands-on experience in pharmaceutical packing lines.
Required Qualifications and Experience
- Education: Diploma in Engineering or ITI (relevant trades)
- Experience: 3 to 10 years in pharmaceutical packing, preferably in solid oral forms
- Key Requirements:
- Experience in regulated plants (USFDA, MHRA, EU) is highly preferred
- Candidates who have appeared for an interview at Intas in the last 6 months need not apply
- Must carry updated resume, educational/experience certificates, salary documents, and photocopies
