Roles & Responsibilities
As an Executive or Senior Executive in R&D Upstream, you will play a key role in executing and optimizing mammalian cell culture processes. Key responsibilities include:
- Executing mammalian cell culture operations from seed train through production bioreactors.
- Preparing media, feeds, and buffers while ensuring aseptic handling and contamination control.
- Operating and monitoring single-use bioreactors and associated control systems.
- Maintaining accurate documentation and compliance with procedural controls.
- Collaborating with cross-functional teams for smooth batch execution.
- Supporting technology transfer, scale-up activities, and process optimization initiatives.
This role offers exposure to advanced biosimilar projects, with a preference for candidates experienced in biosimilars.
Required Qualifications & Experience
- Education: M.Sc (Biotechnology) / M.Tech (Biotechnology)
- Experience: 2 to 8 years in upstream R&D, preferably in biosimilars
- Strong knowledge of mammalian cell culture, bioreactor operations, and GMP compliance
