As a Junior Copy Editor, you will be working with scientific and medical content across multiple domains. Your responsibilities will include:
- Editing, proofreading, and refining scientific and medical content
- Rewriting and repurposing content for different formats and audiences
- Ensuring accuracy in grammar, spelling, punctuation, and consistency
- Reviewing content for adherence to client guidelines and brand standards
- Checking references based on AMA Manual of Style or client requirements
- Identifying inconsistencies, awkward phrasing, and content gaps
- Comparing document versions and highlighting discrepancies
- Verifying digital content such as hyperlinks, buttons, and interactivity
- Collaborating with creative and technology teams for content delivery
- Ensuring compliance with regulatory, safety, and promotional standards
- Supporting content preparation, annotation, and curation tasks
Required Qualifications
Candidates must have one of the following educational backgrounds:
- MSc Biotechnology
- MSc Microbiology
- MTech Biotechnology
- MTech Microbiology
