Responsibilities – Formulation Development (Oral Solids & Liquids)
- Perform pre-formulation studies and develop robust formulations for tablets, capsules, and oral liquid dosage forms
- QbD-based formulation and process development, optimization, and scale-up
- Execute stability studies as per ICH guidelines
- Technology transfer to pilot/commercial manufacturing sites
- Troubleshoot formulation and process-related issues
- Maintain excellent documentation practices (batch records, protocols, reports)
- Conduct literature search and patent non-infringement analysis
- Ensure compliance with regulatory and quality systems
For Senior/Team Leader Role Additional Duties
- Lead a team of formulation scientists and drive multiple projects
- Coordinate with Analytical, RA, and Project Management teams
- Provide timely project updates to clients and internal stakeholders
Qualifications & Experience Required
- M.Pharm in Pharmaceutics/Pharmaceutical Technology (full-time only)
- 1–2 years, 4–6 years, or 8–10 years of relevant experience in oral solid and liquid formulation development
- Strong knowledge of QbD, DoE, and regulatory guidelines
- Hands-on experience with granulation, compression, coating, and liquid filling is preferred
- Excellent communication and documentation skills
