Responsibilities in the Job
As a Lab Report Coordinator I based in Bangalore, you will be an integral part of the clinical data management team. Your responsibilities include:
- Upholding ICON’s core values, which emphasize our dedication to people, clients, and performance.
- Contributing to a culture of continuous process improvement to enhance value and streamline workflows.
- Entering lab results and normal reference ranges into the iRIS system according to sponsor and departmental standards.
- Using reference guides to input translated results accurately.
- Verifying patient demographics and visit details by cross-referencing lab reports and requisition forms.
- Identifying discrepancies on lab reports regarding demographics, visit details, results, units, and reference ranges, and initiating internal issue resolution.
- Updating accessions with responses to site queries.
- Performing and entering calculated results into the system as needed.
- Completing other tasks as assigned to support the team’s objectives.
Qualifications
To excel in the role of Lab Report Coordinator I at ICON, candidates should have:
- A relevant educational background, preferably in life sciences or clinical data management.
- Experience in clinical data entry or similar roles, with knowledge of clinical lab processes being an advantage.
- Attention to detail and the ability to recognize and address discrepancies in clinical data.
- Familiarity with clinical software tools such as iRIS or similar data management systems.
