As a Clinical Data Coordinator II at ICON, your core responsibilities will include:
- Supporting the Data Management Study Lead in maintaining:
- eCRFs
- Data Validation Specifications (DVS)
- Study-Specific Procedures (SSP)
- Managing clinical and third-party data reconciliation per edit specifications and data review plans
- Tracking and communicating study-level and task-level metrics to:
- Clinical Data Scientists
- Project teams
- Functional management
- Addressing data-related queries and recommending effective solutions
- Performing root cause analysis to resolve recurring data issues systematically
This role plays a critical part in ensuring data quality, compliance, and integrity across clinical trials.
๐ Qualifications & Experience Required
To be eligible for the CDC II role at ICON, candidates should meet the following criteria:
- Bachelorโs degree in Life Sciences, Pharmacy, Healthcare, or a related discipline
- Minimum 5 years of relevant experience in clinical data management
- Strong working knowledge of clinical data management processes within pharma, biotech, or CRO environments
- Hands-on experience with CDM systems such as:
- Medidata Rave
- Oracle RDC
- or similar EDC platforms
- Familiarity with ICH-GCP guidelines and regulatory standards
- Excellent attention to detail and ability to work in fast-paced clinical projects
- Strong communication and cross-functional collaboration skills
