Responsibilities
As a Clinical Data Coordinator or Senior Clinical Data Coordinator at ICON, you will play a pivotal role in ensuring the integrity and accuracy of clinical trial data. Key responsibilities include:
- Data Management: Oversee clinical data collection, validation, and cleaning to ensure high-quality datasets for analysis.
- Database Maintenance: Manage and update clinical trial databases, ensuring compliance with regulatory standards.
- Query Resolution: Collaborate with cross-functional teams to resolve data discrepancies and ensure timely query resolution.
- Process Optimization: Implement innovative data review processes to enhance efficiency and accuracy in clinical trials.
- Regulatory Compliance: Ensure adherence to Good Clinical Practice (GCP) and other regulatory guidelines.
- Reporting: Generate reports to support clinical trial monitoring and decision-making.
Qualifications
To qualify for these roles, candidates must meet the following criteria:
- Experience: Minimum of 3+ years in Clinical Data Management within clinical research or pharmaceutical industries.
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in Life Sciences, Biotechnology, Pharmacy, or a related field.
- Skills:
- Proficiency in clinical data management systems (e.g., Medidata Rave, Oracle Clinical).
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Knowledge of GCP and regulatory requirements.
- Excellent communication and teamwork abilities.
- Preferred: Experience with SDTM standards, R, or SAS programming is a plus.
