🧪 Roles & Responsibilities
Selected candidates will be involved in advanced diagnostic and research activities, including:
- Processing, storage, and documentation of clinical samples
- Maintenance of laboratory records and quality control procedures
- Routine mycology diagnostics – culture and identification of fungi
- Molecular techniques including basic PCR
- Antifungal susceptibility testing
- Collection of clinical details from patients
- Assisting in research activities related to medical mycology
- Data entry, reporting, and correspondence with ICMR
🎓 Eligibility & Qualifications
Essential / Preferred Qualifications:
- Graduate degree (Life Sciences / Microbiology) with 3 years post-qualification experience, OR
- Postgraduate degree in a relevant field (Microbiology preferred)
Additional Requirements:
- Practical exposure to microbiology or mycology laboratories
- Working knowledge of molecular biology techniques is desirable
- Language: English and at least one South Indian vernacular language
