Open Positions: QC Biologics
We are currently seeking experienced professionals with a strong background in Quality Control within the biologics industry. Specific requirements for open positions include:
- M.Sc. in Biotechnology/Biochemistry: Candidates must hold a Master of Science degree in Biotechnology or Biochemistry.
- Extensive QC Biologics Experience (2-6 years): A minimum of two years and a maximum of six years of hands-on experience in QC Biologics is required. Preference will be given to candidates with experience in instrumentation, hematology, activity/potency-based assays, and biochemical groups.
- Experience in Biological Companies: Prior experience working specifically within biological companies is highly preferred.
Key Responsibilities and Skills
Successful candidates will possess a comprehensive skillset and demonstrate proficiency in the following areas:
- Advanced Instrumentation Expertise: Demonstrated expertise in operating and maintaining HPLC (High-Performance Liquid Chromatography) and electrophoretic test methods is essential. Experience with cell-based test methods using HPLC is highly preferred.
- Analytical Techniques Proficiency: Proficiency in colorimetric, spectrophotometric, and ELISA-based techniques is required. Candidates should be comfortable handling various laboratory instruments, including spectrophotometers, microplate readers, microscopes, and basic QC instruments. Familiarity with relevant 21 CFR compliant software is also necessary.
- Quality and Compliance: A systematic approach to work, coupled with a strong understanding of GLP (Good Laboratory Practice) and GDP (Good Distribution Practice) compliance requirements, is critical.
- Quality Management Systems (QMS): Knowledge of QMS elements such as OOS (Out of Specification) investigations, incident reporting, deviation handling, and change control procedures is essential.
- Method Validation: A basic understanding of analytical method validation principles and practices is required.
