Detailed Job Description: Safety Physician
Job Overview
As a Safety Physician, you will provide medical safety expertise for post-marketing surveillance of drugs, devices, and combination products. You will ensure compliance with ICH-GCP, regulatory guidelines, and sponsor requirements.
Key Responsibilities
✔ Primary medical review of adverse event cases (seriousness, causality, coding).
✔ Daily case documentation in trackers/tools for workflow management.
✔ Ensure compliance with SLAs and KPIs for quality & productivity.
✔ Train case processing teams (after 1 year of experience).
✔ Support signal detection & aggregate reporting (PBRERs, DSURs).
✔ Maintain high customer service standards.
Eligibility & Qualifications
Minimum Requirements
- Education: MBBS/MD/DO or equivalent medical degree.
- Experience: Working knowledge of medical sciences, drug safety, and regulatory requirements.
- Language Skills:
- Speaking: English (ILR Level 3+).
- Writing/Reading: English (ILR Level 4+).
Preferred Qualifications
- 1-2 years of clinical practice experience.
- Familiarity with pharmacovigilance & ICH-GCP guidelines.
