Job Description
Hikal Limited is hiring a Deputy Manager – Quality Assurance for its API manufacturing facility in Jigani, Bangalore. The role is critical for ensuring adherence to Quality Management Systems (QMS) and regulatory compliance.
Key Responsibilities:
- Oversee QMS processes, including deviations, OOS (Out of Specifications), investigations, and complaint resolutions.
- Manage validations (process, equipment, and analytical methods).
- Ensure compliance with cGMP, WHO, and other regulatory guidelines.
- Lead cross-functional teams for quality audits and CAPA (Corrective and Preventive Actions).
- Review and approve SOPs, batch records, and stability studies.
Eligibility Criteria
Education & Experience:
- MSc or B.Tech in Pharmacy/Chemistry/Chemical Engineering or related fields.
- 12–15 years of QA experience in the API pharmaceutical industry (mandatory).
Key Skills Required:
- Expertise in QMS, deviation handling, OOS, and complaint investigations.
- Strong knowledge of validations (process/equipment).
- Familiarity with regulatory audits (USFDA, EU-GMP, etc.).
