Key Responsibilities by Department
Production (OSD) – Compression, Coating, Granulation, Inspection, Capsule Filling
- Operate and monitor machinery for tablet compression, film coating, and granulation processes.
- Ensure compliance with cGMP in OSD manufacturing jobs at Hetero.
- Perform in-process checks and troubleshoot equipment issues.
- Maintain batch records and support scale-up activities.
Packing (OSD) – Blister & Bottle Packing (Primary & Secondary)
- Handle high-speed blister packing and bottle filling lines.
- Conduct visual inspections and labeling for secondary packaging.
- Adhere to serialization and track-and-trace requirements.
- Optimize packing efficiency while minimizing downtime.
Quality Control (OSD) – Sampling, Stability, HPLC, GC, IP/FP, MT, MV
- Perform analytical testing using HPLC, GC, and wet chemistry methods.
- Manage stability studies and finished product release.
- Execute method validation and in-process sampling.
- Document deviations and support regulatory audits in QC jobs in Hetero OSD.
Quality Assurance (OSD) – IPQA
- Conduct in-process quality assurance checks on the shop floor.
- Review batch manufacturing records and approve line clearances.
- Investigate non-conformances and implement CAPA.
- Ensure IPQA compliance during pharma production shifts.
