Key Responsibilities – Literature Specialist Intern (PV)
As a Literature Specialist–Intern at GSK, you will:
- Support Central Safety Department (CSD) literature screening for ICSR and signal detection
- Perform pharmacovigilance literature surveillance in line with global regulatory requirements
- Screen and review literature search outputs (articles, abstracts, citations)
- Identify and triage articles of interest containing safety-relevant information
- Support SERM product specialists with safety data extraction
- Apply defined algorithms and criteria for periodic reporting and signal management
- Ensure timely and accurate delivery of assigned safety deliverables
Eligibility & Preferred Qualifications
- Degree in Pharmacy, Life Sciences, Biomedical Sciences, or related discipline
- Strong understanding of pharmacovigilance and drug safety concepts
- Familiarity with medical literature databases (PubMed, Embase – preferred)
- Ability to interpret scientific and clinical publications
- Good attention to detail and documentation skills
- Freshers or early-career candidates with PV exposure may apply
