Google is hiring a highly qualified Lead Clinical Specialist in India, offering an exciting opportunity to contribute to healthcare innovation and digital transformation across India’s medical ecosystem. As part of the Google for Health initiative, the Lead Clinical Specialist will oversee partnerships, clinical deployment, stakeholder engagement, digital health adoption, and product collaboration. This position plays a major role in advancing national healthcare transformation efforts by applying clinical expertise to emerging medical technologies.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead and support the implementation and adoption of Google health tools among Indian healthcare partners.
- Act as a subject-matter expert for government bodies, hospitals, academic partners, and the broader healthcare ecosystem.
- Provide consultation and ensure Google healthcare tools deliver measurable clinical outcomes and strategic value.
- Manage and expand relationships with senior leaders across India’s health sector and within Google.
- Work cross-functionally with product, engineering, policy, and partnership teams to solve clinical and technical challenges.
- Represent Google in strategic collaborations, policy dialogues, and innovation programs.
Minimum Qualifications
- Medical degree (MBBS, MD, or equivalent).
- Minimum 5 years of clinical experience including residency/training.
- At least 3 years post-graduate experience in a hospital or primary care setting.
Preferred Qualifications
- 7+ years of experience in clinical policy, technology implementation, or program management in healthcare.
- 5+ years of leadership experience in the healthcare sector.
- Hands-on experience with India’s healthcare systems, digital health programs, policy frameworks, or medical AI applications.
- Strong communication and presentation skills to convey clinical concepts to non-medical stakeholders.
