Key Responsibilities
Candidates selected for the QC Microbiologist role will be responsible for:
- Performing microbiological analysis for raw materials, in-process, and finished products
- Handling and operating instruments such as HPLC, KF, Potentiometer Titrator, and FTIR as per SOPs
- Conducting environmental monitoring and sterile area testing
- Analyzing semi-finished and finished products in compliance with regulatory standards
- Ensuring adherence to cGLP and cGMP practices during testing and documentation
- Recording observations accurately in test data sheets and systems
- Monitoring chromatograms and reporting any deviations such as OOS (Out of Specification) and OOT (Out of Trend)
- Coordinating with cross-functional teams for timely issue resolution
- Following proper procedures for disposal of tested samples
Required Qualifications
To be eligible for this role, candidates must have:
- M.Sc in Microbiology
- 3 to 5 years of relevant experience in pharmaceutical QC Microbiology
- Strong knowledge of sterile and non-sterile testing
- Familiarity with regulatory guidelines like cGMP and cGLP
- Hands-on experience with analytical instruments
