Job Description: Research Analyst
As a Research Analyst at GHX, your primary role will be to research and compile critical data on medical devices, helping healthcare professionals make informed decisions. You will be responsible for gathering unbiased information from credible sources such as FDA databases, manufacturer websites, and clinical trials to enhance GHX’s online research application.
Key Responsibilities
- Conduct secondary research to extract relevant data from credible sources like FDA databases, manufacturer websites, and clinical trial databases.
- Collect and structure product-specific data, maintaining accuracy across different fields in the Lumere research application.
- Understand medical device functions and their intended uses to identify relevant product attributes and categorize similar devices.
- Apply critical thinking and problem-solving to data discovery, acquisition, and classification tasks.
Qualifications
To be successful in this role, you should have:
- A college degree or higher in biomedical engineering, medical sciences/technology, nursing, or a related field.
- Experience conducting secondary research using web-based resources.
- A solid understanding of medical devices and familiarity with FDA regulatory pathways or healthcare settings (preferred).
- Strong attention to detail, problem-solving skills, and an ability to manage multiple tasks.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English.
- The ability to work independently and in a systematic, organized manner.
