Key Responsibilities
As a Genome Analyst at LifeCell International, you will:
- Analyze and interpret complex Next Generation Sequencing (NGS) datasets including WES, CES, and WGS.
- Ensure generation of error-free, accurate genomic reports within defined turnaround times (TAT).
- Collaborate closely with scientists and clinical researchers to translate genomic data into biological hypotheses.
- Maintain documentation and quality compliance in accordance with clinical and regulatory standards.
- Use analytical tools and scripting languages like R and Python for data analysis and report generation.
Qualifications
- Master’s degree in Genetics, Genomics, Biotechnology, or related Life Sciences discipline.
- 1–3 years of hands-on experience in NGS data analysis or similar genomic analytics role.
- Strong knowledge of R, Python, and bioinformatics pipelines.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office tools (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Outlook).
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills with a keen attention to detail.
