Key Responsibilities
As a Microbiologist Intern, you will be actively involved in various microbiological processes and research activities. Your day-to-day responsibilities include:
- Research Supervision: Oversee and conduct research on microbiological activities to drive innovation in the production process.
- Protocol Development: Develop and validate protocols for environmental control measures to ensure high-quality standards.
- Laboratory Analysis: Conduct thorough laboratory testing and analysis on materials while ensuring appropriate sterilization techniques.
- Contamination Management: Identify contamination in component samples, conduct analyses, and take corrective measures to maintain product integrity.
- Microorganism Study: Study and monitor cultures of microorganisms, analyzing their physiological and morphological characteristics.
- Testing and Documentation: Test incoming ingredients, document records, and ensure compliance with Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP).
- Research Paper Development: Prepare research papers and documentation based on the analysis and testing protocols.
- Audit and Review: Audit environmental programs and processes, ensuring adherence to standards.
- Inventory and Lab Management: Manage lab processes, purchase orders, and inventory, ensuring smooth operations.
