Responsibilities of Jr. Executive – Medical Coding
The position of Jr. Executive Medical Coder is crucial in ensuring smooth medical documentation and coding processes. Below are the primary responsibilities:
- Assign appropriate ICD-10, CPT, or HCPCS codes to patient records.
- Review medical records and identify relevant diagnoses and procedures.
- Ensure the accuracy and completeness of medical documentation.
- Collaborate with team members to maintain coding quality and compliance.
- Stay updated on coding guidelines and industry standards.
- Assist with audits and error resolution to ensure compliance with regulations.
Eligibility Criteria and Qualifications

- Education: Graduates or postgraduates in Life Sciences (e.g., Biology, Microbiology, Biotechnology, Biochemistry, or related fields).
