Clarivate is seeking an Associate Content STEM Analyst in Biomedicine to join our dynamic team in Chennai. This position involves curating essential biomedicine content from various scientific sources, including journals, clinical trials, patents, and FDA documents, for our Cortellis Drug Discovery Intelligence platform.
About You:
- Experience: Fresher to 2 years of experience in life sciences content curation or relevant fields.
- Education: Master’s degree in Life Sciences.
- Knowledge:
- Basic understanding of life sciences, especially in biomarkers and genetic variant nomenclature.
Key Responsibilities:
- Data Review & Curation:
- Review scientific publications to identify data related to biomarkers and genes.
- Document the use of biomarkers in various diseases, including techniques used.
- Enter data accurately into the BMK and Genomics database using controlled vocabulary and defined data fields.
- Milestone Delivery:
- Accountable for meeting weekly database filling milestones and production volume/quality targets.
- Personal Planning:
- Effective time management and personal planning to achieve goals.
- Additional Duties:
- Undertake other reasonable tasks as assigned by your line manager or director.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience or knowledge in animation tools, such as Adobe Animate.
What You Will Be Doing:
- Curation of Scientific Data:
- Collect and curate scientific data from various resources, including scientific journals, patents, and clinical trial documents.
- Identify biomarkers and genetic variants studied, including their impact on diseases and drug responses.
- Analyze relevant resources to create animations/targetscapes as per the assigned topics.
